We hope that you take advantage of the wealth of resources throughout our site. The Ohio Domestic Violence Network (ODVN) is a statewide coalition of domestic violence programs, supportive agencies and concerned individuals organizing to ensure the elimination of domestic violence by: providing technical assistance, resources, information and training to all who address or are affected by domestic violence; and promoting social and systems change through public policy, public awareness and education initiatives. And they are supported by a Cleveland woman who was nearly killed almost two years ago after her ex-boyfriend stalked and shot her in the face with a shotgun.Johanna Orozco, now 21, has continued to voice support for the bill.As the leading community resource, we will provide a continuum of support from emergency to transition to independence for victims of domestic violence and act as a gateway to comprehensive support services that operate in a community that embraces, values, and supports the need for systemic change in all aspects of domestic violence issues.
The bill was inspired by teens who were murdered or maimed by former boyfriends.
